Suddenly fall is in the air. We removed the tomato plants , and planted some winter greens in the greenhouse instead. We also seeded lots of rucola, lamb’s lettuce, mustard greens and winter purslane outside with our new seeder, a gift from Ann’s farmer friend in Maine. We sowed some green manures in the edible flower bed. And we’ve been really enjoying the farm kittens, who eat an amazing number of mice caught each day by mama Mini, and are always up for a cuddle.
